Due to Covid 19 we have had to make some significant changes to the way that we work within the practice.
Please read the information below prior to coming to the Surgery:
- The practice is currently working on an Appointment only basis;
- We would kindly ask that where possible only one person enters the consultation room (With exception for parent/guardian accompanying a child).
- Please wear a face mask or suitable face covering for your appointment.
- Please do not arrive too early for your appointment as for the foreseeable future, patients will not be able to use the waiting room; We suggest where possible that you bring your car and park near to the surgery.
- When the Doctor or Nurse are ready to see you, you will receive a telephone call asking you to come to the front door; In the event that you do not have a mobile phone with you, please wait at the door at your appointment time.
- As you enter the Surgery please use the hand sanitiser provided;
- You will then be brought straight into the consulting room.
- Where possible please avoid using cash to pay for your visit;
- After your consultation please use the hand sanitiser again before leaving the surgery.
- If you think a urine sample may be needed – please bring this with you as for Public Health reasons the toilet is currently not in use. Examples: for ante-natal appointments, if you have symptoms of a urine infection or if would like an STI screen.
Social Welfare Certificates and Prescriptions can now be generated electronically which means that in the majority of cases you will not need to attend the Surgery to collect these.
Our aim is to provide a safe and clean environment for our patients to enable ongoing provision of our service,
If you are unclear on any of the above information please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email.
